Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT) is looking to refill some portions of its Action Alley. The idea behind the move is to encourage sales volume, and footfalls.
According to a report released by Credit Suisse (ADR) (NYSE: CS), consumer companies such as PepsiCo (NYSE: PEP), and Kellogg (NYSE: K) are likely to make a major push for the space. The report has also stated that the move signifies a change in Wal-Mart’s (WMT) strategy.
The move will also give the retailer an edge over other supermarkets. The retailer is also expected to give a push to its promotional activities. However, the report has said that the retail giant is not expected to make any changes in its pricing.
