J. Crew Beats And Raises Guidance (JCG)

J. Crew Group (NYSE: JCG) posted better-than-expected results for its fourth quarter after the close today and shares rose modestly after hours.
The retailer earned $0.46 per share, $0.15 better than the consensus forecast of $0.46 per share. Revenues also beat expectations with the company posting sales of $460.6 million versus a consensus estimate of $443.08 million.
The company guided higher for FY2011, saying it sees EPS in the range of $2.20-2.30. The current consensus EPS estimate for 2011 is $2.13.
Shares of J. Crew finished the regular trading sessions down $0.42, or 0.89%, to $46.98. Shares are up $0.12, or 0.25%, to $47.10 in extended trading.
