Baker Hughes Incorporated (BHI) Announces Increase In Rig-Count For February 2010

Baker Hughes Incorporated (NYSE: BHI) has announced an increase in its rig-count for the month of February.

The rig-count for the month of February increased to 1068 from 1047 in January. The worldwide rig-count for February has also shown an improvement overall, and Baker Hughes Incorporated has followed the trend.

However, the worldwide rig-count has gone up by 7.5% in the past month, whereas Baker Hughes Incorporated has only registered a 2% increase. Even the US rig-count registered a 6.5% increase from January 2010.
