Wet Seal (NASDAQ: WTSLA) shares have added 4.14% to $4.28, after the retailer announced a 4.7% increase in same-store sales in February. This compared to the consensus estimates of a 2.9% decline. While more than 6 million WTSLA shares have already been traded, the average daily volume stands at 1.06 million.

Digital media company DivX (NASDAQ: DIVX) jumped 17.47% to $7.06 in early morning trading, after it posted better-than-consensus profits for Q4. DIVX’s revenues for the quarter came at $20.1 million, exceeding the consensus. Moreover, the company has offered better-than-expected earnings and revenue guidance for Q1. The volume of DIVX shares that have already been traded is close to 3 million, as compared to the 50-day average daily volume of 156,000.

China Armco Metals (OTC: CNAM) soared 31.70% to $6.98 in early trade today, after the metal distributor announced that one of its subsidiaries had signed a scrap supply contract valued at more than $100 million with a major China steel producer. While the average daily volume for China Armco is 126,000, 2.11 million of CNAM shares have already been traded since morning.

By 10:54 AM, Coldwater Creek (NASDAQ: CWTR) has climbed 13.54% to $6.14, after the apparel retailer beat consensus expectations for the fourth quarter. Although the company’s loss for the quarter was higher than expected, its guidance for Q1 and FY11 was better than anticipated. Since morning, the volume of CWTR shares has topped 1 million, while the average daily volume is 888,000
