SouthWest Water (SWWC) Agrees To An Acquisition By Institutional Investors

SouthWest Water Co. (NASDAQ: SWWC), which provides water production, and wastewater treatment services, has agreed to a buyout offer from institutional investors, which include J.P. Morgan Asset Management, and Water Asset Management LLC.

The deal, which will make SouthWest Water a privately held company, will be in cash, and values the company at $275 million, representing a 56% premium on SouthWest’s closing price on Tuesday.

The company’s enterprise value is estimated to be $427 million, after taking in to account the outstanding debt.
