XTO Energy (XTO) 4th Quarter Earnings Jump 50%

XTO Energy, Inc. (NYSE: XTO) reported on Wednesday morning that the company's 4th quarter earnings rose to $537 million, or 92 cents per share, up from $351 million, or 61 cents per share, during the same quarter a year earlier.

Revenues rose from $2 billion last year to $2.3 billion in the latest 4th quarter.

XTO Energy said that its adjusted earnings were 93 cents per share.

According to a survey of analysts by FactSet Research, the consensus forecast was 86 cents per share.
