Adobe Joins LiMo Foundation (ADBE)
Adobe (NASDAQ: ADBE) has joined the LiMo Foundation. LiMo Foundation is working towards putting Linux on mobile phones. Verizon Wireless (NYSE: VZ), NEC (OTC: NIPNIF), Vodafone (NASDAQ: VOD) and NTT DoCoMo (NYSE: DCM) are among the other members of the LiMo Foundations. Adobe (ADBE) has also announced that its Flash products will now work on Google’s (NASDAQ; GOOG) Android operating system.
Adobe is currently facing competition from Nokia (NYSE: NOK) and Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL), which have launched their own software application stores. Apple (AAPL) had earlier rejected Adobe Flash player, calling it “buggy”. Adobe has denied the accusation.
