SkillSoft Offered Buyout For $10.80 Per Share (SKIL)

Shares of e-learnings software maker SkillSoft Plc (Nasdaq: SKIL) are up comfortably this morning during pre-market trading as private equity firms bid to buy the company's shares for $10.80 per share in cash.

Shares of SkillSoft closed at $9.76 after Thursday's trading and are trading at $11.00 per share this morning. This is a 12.70% move to the upside before the market opens and is $0.20 higher than the proposed buyout. This could mean the market thinks the deal could get a bit sweeter for the shareholders of SKIL.
