American Airlines Attacks Coach Passengers Again
February 10, 2010 7:20 PM
American Airlines strikes again with the target being the expected: Coach passengers.
Just after announcing the company will start charging coach passengers $8 per blanket, there will also be a $50 standby fee for those flying in coach.
Who will be exempt from this new rule? Military personnel, elite frequent fliers, and those flying first class.
This is just another attack on those who already cannot afford the expensive fees being imposed by airlines. Someone should take a stand against the second-largest airline before other airlines adapt to these methods.
In my opinion, Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV) has went out of its way to keep prices low, which is admirable.
