Bloomberg reports that the shares of six companies may show unusual trading movements. ADC Telecommunications (NASDAQ: ADCT) shares rose to $5.62 after the company announced that it had earned 10 cents per share in the first quarter, while analysts had only expected ADC to break even.
Coca Cola (NYSE: KO), the world’s largest soft-drink maker, saw its shares rise to $53.49. Coca Cola’s profits met analyst estimates, being largely driven by increased volumes in India and China. Meanwhile, Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS) plunged by more than 8% as ERTS announced a 2011 profit forecast that trailed most estimates.
Audio systems maker Harman International (NYSE: HAR) reported a profit of 40 cents per share which is five times the average analyst estimate, while Lincoln National (NYSE: LNC) missed the sales estimates by 5.1%. Lincoln National reported 4Q sales of $2.40 billion. SRA International (NYSE: SRX) upped 2010 forecasts on the grounds that it expected to earn up to $1.29 per share.
