International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (IFF) Earnings Fall 3%

International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (NYSE: IFF) reported that its 4th quarter earnings fell 3% to $47.4 million, or 59 cents per share, from $49 million, or 62 cents per share, for the same quarter a year ago.
On an adjusted basis, the company said that it earned 63 cents per share for the 4th quarter.
According to a poll of analysts conducted by FactSet Research, Wall Street was expecting earnings of 61 cents per share.
Sales at International Flavors & Fragrances rose 9% to $585.6 million, up from $539.1 million last year.
Shares of International Flavors & Fragrances closed Monday at $39.85.
