Comcast Corporation's (CMCSA) (CMCSK) Broadcast Shows To Remain Free Online

Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA) (Nasdaq: CMCSK) announced that broadcast shows would remain free.

Comcast Corporation Chairman Brian Roberts was before a House Subcommittee when he said that a Comcast-controlled NBC Universal would not move "over-the-air" broadcast programming to a TV Everywhere model which would only allow paid Comcast subscribers to watch the shows online.

Comcast's shares were down nearly 2 % in early afternoon trading.
