Apple Reality Check - Are There Bugs in iPad Too?

With all the hype and noise going on around Apple's newest brainchild, the iPad, here's a somber note - not everything is so fine with Apple. Take, for example, the time Apple takes to fix its bugs.
Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL) has been careless enough to overlook a huge bug in its Mac OS X for the last seven months. This bug could prove to be disastrous for users having OS X as it has the ability to crash the system in no time when the internet is accessed. Such bugs have appeared in the past for Mozilla applications also but they were fixed in no time as this bug is not difficult to fix.
This raises questions on Apple’s security consciousness. In this age, when users are most vulnerable to cyber attacks, is it possible that in a hurry to launch its iPad before its competitors, Apple would have taken care of these security issues in its iPad? Its Mac has been in the market for a long time and is still cropping up with bugs. So, Apple’s iPad being a revolutionary innovation has a lot of potential for having security loopholes.
Cyber pirates are continuously looking for such loopholes and the iPad being the newest innovation in the market will interest these cyber pirates too, given Apple’s reputation for handling security issues in its applications.
