Microsoft to Tie-up with Localeze to Provide Business Listing Services

Microsoft Corp’s (NASDAQ: MSFT) Bing will utilize Localeze’s business listing services in its search services.

Localeze has 14 million listings to offer for Bing local. Bing is developing its own business listings to compete with the God of search engines, Google. Microsoft has, however, decided to achieve this objective by growing inorganically, like forming alliance with Localeze.

Localeze has keyword rich, verified and current local business content which can prove very useful to local online search directories, vertical local search engines, social networking search sites and the likes. In this deal, Bing will use Localeze’s premium business listings which include more than 500,000 business-verified and managed listings.
