Cogent Inc (NASDAQ: COGT) rose 18.90% to $10.60 in the pre-market session. 3M Co (NYSE: MMM) has agreed to purchase COGT for more than $900 million or $10.50 per share, representing an 18% premium to COGT’s closing price on Friday.
Genzyme Corporation (NASDAQ: GENZ) added 4.26% to $70.50 in pre-market trading. The board of GENZ had rejected an $18.5 billion offer from Sanofi-Aventis SA (NYSE: SNY).
ImmunoGen Inc (NASDAQ: IMGN) moved up 2.71% to $5.30 in pre-market trading. IMGN had $110.30 million in total cash and no debt for the latest quarter.
Corinthian Colleges Inc (NASDAQ: COCO) gained 1.67% to $4.88 in the pre-market session. COCO’s shares have lost 74.88% over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 3.47% in the same period.
