Top Narrow Based Indexes For August 24 (ZAGG, VTG, CRRC)

By 1:06 pm, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 111.48 points, or 1.10%, to 10,062.93, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index had lost 13.26 points, or 1.24%. The NASDAQ composite index fell 28.71 points, or 1.33%.

Some of the narrow based indexes that are still afloat in the market are Computer Peripheral Stocks, which have gained 2.8%, Offshore Drilling Stocks, up 0.6%, and Publisher Stocks, moving 0.6% higher as a group.

In Tickerspy's Computer Peripheral complex, ZAGG Incorporated (NASDAQ: ZAGG) had surged 14.2%. ZAGG had reported strong y/y rise in its Q2 results.

The best performing Tickerspy Offshore Drilling stock has been Vantage Drilling Company (AMEX: VTG), which was up 6.1%. VTG’s quarterly revenue surged 208.00% y/y.

Courier Corporation (NASDAQ: CRRC) is today’s leading Tickerspy's Publisher stock, gaining 3.8%. CRRC’s shares have lost 15.54% over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 4.07% in the same period.
