After Monday's closing bell, Focus Media Holding Ltd (NASDAQ: FMCN) swung to Q2 net income of $0.17 per American Depositary Share (ADS), from a loss of $0.18 per ADS, in the year-ago period. FMCN’s shares gained 2.54% to $19.01 in after-hours trading.
Wall Street expects Barnes & Noble (NYSE: BKS) to post its Q1 loss of $0.80 per share. BKS’ shares lost 0.27% to $14.96 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts are expecting Burger King (NYSE: BKC) to have earned $0.33 per share in the forth quarter. BKC’s shares rose 0.78% to $16.75 in after-hours trading.
Borders Group Inc (NYSE: BGP) has announced that its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Mark Bierley has resigned in order to pursue other employment opportunity. The company’s Vice President Glen Tomaszewski has been named as the interim CFO until it finds a replacement. BGP’s shares fell 1.65% to close at $1.19 yesterday.
Medtronic (NYSE: MDT) may report its Q1 earnings at $0.82 per share. MDT’s shares rose 0.63% to close at $34.99 yesterday.
