Marvell Technology Group Ltd (NASDAQ: MRVL) rose 9.46% to $16.32 in the pre-market session. MRVL had reported in-line Q2 earnings.
NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA) added 0.51% to $9.93 in pre-market trading. Analysts at FBR Capital had lowered their 2010 EPS estimates for NVDA.
Symantec Corporation (NASDAQ: SYMC) moved up 0.45% to $13.43 in pre-market trading. Analysts at UBS upgraded SYMC from "neutral" to "buy."
BSD Medical Corporation (NASDAQ: BSDM) gained 0.42% to $2.39 in the pre-market session. BSDM had entered into a securities purchase agreement with two of its existing institutional investors in a registered direct offering of common stock and warrants for a total amount of about $2.75 million.
