Shares of TriMas Corporation
TRS are up sharply this morning after the industrial goods maker blew away earnings estimates, beating consensus by 21 cents. It also raised 2010 guidance.
TriMas reported earnings of $0.44 per share, which was $0.21 better than the $0.23 analysts were looking for. Revenues jumped 21.3% from last year to $252.1 million vs the $230.1 million consensus. Trimas said it now sees EPS of $0.90-1.00, versus the $0.77 Thomson Reuters consensus, which is up from $0.65-0.75.
Shares of TriMas are up 36 cents to $12.46 in early Tuesday trading.
