However, the company reduced its revenue projections for the year. FSLR’s shares dropped 3.89% to $130.23 in after-hours trading.
Analysts are expecting Merck & Co Inc (NYSE: MRK) to have earned $0.83 per share on revenue of $11.47 billion in the second quarter. MRK’s shares gained 0.63% to $35.28 in after-hours trading.
Wall Street expects Chevron Corp (NYSE: CVX) to report Q2 EPS at $0.74 on $1.87 billion in revenue. CVX’s shares fell 0.03% to $76.00 in the after-hours trading session.
Aon Corp (NYSE: AON) may post its Q2 EPS at $0.75 on $1.87 billion in revenue. AON’s shares moved up 0.36% to close at $36.63 yesterday.
Coinstar Inc (NASDAQ: CSTR) reported its Q2 revenue below the Street view, after the closing bell yesterday. Although the company’s Q2 revenue grew 34% to $342.4 million, from $253.8 million in the year-ago period. The analysts expected the company to post revenue of $381.6 million. CSTR’s shares dipped 7.49% to $44.49 in the after-hours trading session.
