Benzinga's After Hours Decliners (SYMC, AKAM, ESRX, NVDA)

A number of notable Nasdaq stocks are getting slammed in after hours trading on Wednesday. Among them are Symantec (NASDAQ: SYMC), Akamai Technologies (NASDAQ: AKAM), Express Scripts (NASDAQ: ESRX), and Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA).

Symantec (SYMC) reported disappointing earnings after the bell. The company said that its earnings per share were $0.35, which was in line with Street estimates, but SYMC missed revenue expectations and gave disappointing forward guidance. The stock has lost nearly 8% to $13.50 in the after hours.

Akamai Technologies (AKAM) also released earnings numbers that disappointed investors. In late trading, AKAM has fallen 4.81% to $41.91. Year-to-date, however, the shares have rallied nearly 74%.

Express Scripts (ESRX) reported EPS numbers which beat analysts' estimates by a penny, but missed revenue expectations. ESRX has shed 3.44% in the late trading session. The shares are currently trading hands for $40.75.

Nvidia (NVDA) is taking a big hit on huge volume in the after hours after the company lowered its Q2 revenue guidance from a range between$950 million and $970 million to a range between $800 million and $820 million. The shares have promptly lost 6.81% in late trading to $9.44.
