A123 Systems Inc (NASDAQ: AONE) added 4.46% to $9.84 in pre-market trading. AONE has planned to open a research and development (R&D) facility in Westborough, Massachusetts.
Genzyme Corporation (NASDAQ: GENZ) moved up 3.68% to $64.82 in pre-market trading. Sanofi-Aventis (NYSE: SNY) has approached GENZ for a takeover in an informal way as the company seeks to enhance its biotechnology offerings.
Mellanox Technologies Ltd (NASDAQ: MLNX) gained 3.19% to $17.14 in the pre-market session. MLNX had issued a weak outlook for its Q3 revenues.
