SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ: SNDK) shares gained 4.42% to $35.40. The volume of SNDK shares traded was 17% higher than normal. The rating of SNDK was upped by UBS to “buy.”
Aixtron Aktiengesellschaft (NASDAQ: AIXG) shares moved up 3.14% to $16.74. The volume of AIXG shares traded was 14% higher than normal. Analyst Andrew Huang of Sterne Agee had recently mentioned that the LED sector is likely to see tight supply throughout 2011. He had also named AIXG as one of its top picks.
