Playboy Enterprises (NYSE: PLA) jumped 33.50% to $5.26 by 10:51 am. Hugh Hefner has offered to take the PLA private for $5.50 a share.
Hewitt Associates (NYSE: HEW) shares surged 32.43% to $46.88. Avon will buy HEW in a cash and stock deal worth $4.9 billion. The acquisition will create the world's largest human resources company.
InfoLogix Inc (NASDAQ: IFLG) shares advanced 26.88% to $6.09. INS had $2.46 million of total cash and no debt in the latest quarter. IFLG offers enterprise mobility and mobile workforce technology solutions in the US.
RF Monolithics, Inc (NASDAQ: RFMI) climbed 27.87% to $40.61. The Doctors Company has agreed to acquire ACAP for $41.50 per share in cash. RFMI designs, develops, manufactures and markets wireless solutions and wireless components.
