Conceptus Plunges On Lowered Outlook

Shares of Conceptus Inc (NASDAQ: CPTS) dipped after the company narrowed its Q2 and FY10 guidance.

The Mountain View, California-based company has lowered its forecasts as it expects a fall in physician office visits during the year. CPTS also believes that the US dollar will strengthen.

CPTS’ shares have fallen 15.83% so far this year, while they have gained 1.35% over the previous week.

Conceptus’ shares fell 17.67% to $13 at 9:52 am.
