Top Narrow Based Indexes for June 30 (SPEX, PNCL, TSLA)

By 12:47 pm, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.91 points, or 0.01%, to 9,871.21, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index had gained 2.22 points, or 0.21%. The NASDAQ composite index had also climbed 9.24 points, or 0.43%. Some of the narrow based indexes that are driving the market are the Diabetes Stocks, which have gained 3.8%, Airline Stocks, up 3.5% and Trucks and Auto Stocks, moving 3.3% higher as a group.

In Tickerspy's Diabetes complex, Spherix Incorporated (NASDAQ: SPEX) surged 9.6%. SPEX's Biospherics has purchased global patent rights from University of Kentucky Research Foundation for developing tagatose as a trigylcerides therapy.

Today’s best performing Tickerspy Airline stock was Pinnacle Airlines Corp (NASDAQ: PNCL), which advanced 8.6%. Analysts at Deutsche Bank initiated coverage of PNCL with a “buy” rating.

Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA) is today’s leading Tickerspy's Trucks and Auto stock, gaining 18.5%. TSLA’s shares began trading on the NASDAQ exchange yesterday and surged an incredible 40.53% to close at $23.99.
