ONYX Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: ONXX) tumbled 3.64% to $22 in the pre-market session. ONXX and the German drug firm Bayer announced the failure of their cancer drug Nexavar, which was aimed at extending the survival of patients suffering from lung cancer.
Wynn Resorts Limited (NASDAQ: WYNN) lost 3.48% to $79.95 in the pre-market session. WYNN is now charging a fee of $20 at its resorts.
Akamai Technologies Inc.(NASDAQ: AKAM) fell 0.68% to $44.00 in the pre-market session. Analysts at Citigroup downgrade AKAM from "buy" to "hold."
Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: APC) slipped 0.24% to $41.69 in pre-market trading. APC has signed Singapore-listed Otto Marine’s subsidiary, Reflect Geophysical, for a New Zealand survey.
