Layer Introduces New Browser

According to TechCrunch, Layer has debuted the latest version of its Reality Browser product with an Android version. The latest version allows users to discover and experience Augmented Reality without the need to enter a search query.

TechCrunch further reports that Layer’s Reality Browser provides users with a dynamic list of content. The list is presented in real time and is sorted by time, proximity, user preference and popularity. Layer said that it currently serves more than 2 million users. It also stated that the browser comes pre-installed on a number of phones. The company is based out of Amsterdam and is backed by $3.5 million in venture capital.
