Stocks Hitting 52-Week Highs (CPEX, IRDMZ, JSDA, LPSB)

CPEX Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: CPEX) crossed its earlier 52-week high of $26.65 and created a new 52-week high of $26.85. CPEX’s shareholders have recently elected Robert Forrester, COO of Forma Therapeutics, to the company’s board of directors.

Iridium Communications Inc (NASDAQ: IRDMZ) was another stock that made a new 52-week high of $2.29, up 12.25% at 11:38 am, breaking its previous high of $2.25. Iridium has announced today that it is going to fund, build and deploy Iridium NEXT, the company’s next-generation satellite constellation.

Jones Soda Company (NASDAQ: JSDA) today broke its previous 52-week high of $1.97 and made a new high of $2.09, up 11.17% at 11:38 am. Recently, JSDA struck a deal with Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT) to sell its products in the retailer giant’s nearly 3,800 US-based stores. The deal enhances Jones' total retail outlet distribution by almost 10%.

LaPorte Bancorp Inc (NYSE: LPSB) crossed its earlier 52-week high of $7.65 and created a new 52-week high of $8, up 4.57%. LPSB is a holding company of The LaPorte Savings Bank that provides various banking products and services to individuals and small businesses in Indiana.
