Just a little public service announcement. As we
reported last week the PIMCO Total Return ETF
TRXT will change its ticker to "BOND" on Wednesday April 4.
The shift from the ticker TRXT to BOND is designed to make it even easier for investors to access the PIMCO Total Return ETF, PIMCO said in a statement last week.
Dubbed the "Bill Gross ETF" for the bond market legend that manages the ETF and Total Return Mutual Fund, the world's biggest bond fund, the Total Return ETF now has almost $288 million in assets under management in barely more than a month of trading making the fund one of the most successful new product launches in exchange-traded products history.
