Trading Nadex Into The News: Two News Reports Pertaining To CAD

On Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at 8:30 AM ET, the Canadian Government will release the Foreign Securities Purchases report and the Manufacturing Sales report. Both of these reports have a medium rating of importance meaning that their release can have some effect on your trading day. Higher than expected readings on either report should be regarded as positive for the CAD. If the reading is lower, it should be considered negative.

The Foreign Securities Purchases report shows the overall value of domestic stocks, bonds and money-market assets that were purchased by foreign investors. The forecast is 5.21 billion. The previous reading was 4.37 billion. This report is issued monthly.

The Manufacturing Sales is the change in the overall value of sales at the manufacturing level. It is forecast to be down, coming in at -0.3 percent. Last month, the report came in at 2.1 percent.
