Trading Nadex Into The News: Euro Final CPI

Here’s a trade for you if you want to enter it, go to bed and get up to see how it did. That’s not to say that it’s not important. It’s an overnight trade, and that is a good thing if you are an overnight trader. Of course, you would still do your analysis and figure out where you think the market will move. You would still have your plan and trade accordingly.

The Euro Final Consumer Price Index (CPI) is being released at 5:00 AM on October 16, 2014. The CPI measures the change in the price of goods and services from the perspective of the consumer. Because it shows changes in purchasing trends and inflation, it will affect the EUR. If the report is higher than expected, it should be seen as positive or bullish for the EUR. If lower than expected, then it is negative or bearish for the EUR.

The suggested strategy is an Iron Condor on a Nadex Spread using the EUR/USD instrument. Enter as early as 11:00 PM with a 7:00 AM expiration. You will want a minimum profit target of $35.
