Tuesday January 8th watchlist

VIVUS, Inc. VVUS was one of the stronger stocks that ended higher today after the company reported the number of prescriptions shipped for its Qsymia increased 67% in the 4 weeks ended Dec. 21. I'll be watching the stock on Tuesday for a continuation move. Resistance for this move is $15.54, which reflects Monday's high of the day. If the stock does break resistance, I expect to see the stock move very quickly. Technicals are positive for a continued climb. RSI, OBV and MACD all look good to me.

Cliffs Natural Resources Inc CLF held above the break out point again today. As long as the stock does not go below the 36.6 price level, CLF is a good candidate to buy considering the possible pennant / flag area pattern.

OmniVision Technologies, Inc. OVTI is holding up well above its 50-day moving average and looks ready to move higher from here. Technicals are supporting an up move with RSI at just 55 leaving lots of room for further appreciation. Additionally, the MACD on daily has crossed the signal line and is trading above zero line. Another buy point for OVTI is at 15.29.

Zagg Inc ZAGG broke out of this broke out of this flag and looks good for more gains.
