Benzinga’s Top Downgrades (GTE, BNHN, NRG, LUKOY)

Gran Tierra Energy Inc. (AMEX: GTE) declined 1.39% to $5.67 on 778K shares in the morning trading hours after Wunderlich Securities downgraded GTE rom Buy to Hold with a price target of $6. The 52 week trading range for GTE is $1.96 - $5.90. So far in 2009, GTE gained over 100%.
Benihana Inc. (NASDAQ: BNHN) fell 28% to $3.98 after Stephens today downgraded BNHN from Overweight to Equalweight. In the last six months, SAP gained 14%. Today, BNHN posted a surprise quarterly loss hurt by lower-than-expected same store sales and costs related to ongoing restaurant renovations, and said it was withdrawing its fiscal 2010 forecast.
NRG Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NRG) moved down 1% to $23.64 after UBS downgraded NRG from Buy to Neutral. The firm also lowered its price target on the stock from $33 to $26.
LUKOIL (ADR) (OTC: LUKOY) fell 2.67% to $58.40 on 41K shares Citigroup downgrades Lukoil from Buy to Hold. So far this year, LUKOY is up over 76%.
