Financial Federal Corporation (NYSE: FIF) jumped 29% to $26.53 after People's United Financial, Inc. (NASDAQ: PBCT), the holding company for People's United Bank, announced today a definitive agreement to acquire Financial Federal in a stock and cash transaction valued at approximately $738 million.
Zions Bancorporation (NASDAQ: ZION) climbed 14% to $14.33 on 9.71 million shares after Zions Bancorporation was upgraded by Soleil Securites from Hold to Buy at a price target of $17.50. The 52 week trading range for ZION is $5.90 - $31.95.

CIGNA Corporation (NYSE: CI) climbed 7% to $32.15 on 2.99 million shares after analysts at J.P. Morgan said Monday that they are growing more positive about managed-care stocks and CIGNA Corporation to overweight from neutral.
