Airline Stocks Up (CAL, UAUA, AMR, ALK)

Today Airline Stocks are seeing buying activity amid speculation that Continental Airlines Inc (NYSE: CAL) and UAL Corporation’s (NASDAQ: UAUA) United Airline may consider a merger, according to the Wall Street Journal Details here.Other supportive factors are falling Crude prices along with the broad market rally.
Continental Airlines, Inc. (NYSE: CAL) is the top mover and is now up 3.82% at $12.48.
UAL Corporation (NASDAQ: UAUA) jumped up 1.20% to $6.74. UAUA has come off its day’s high of $6.94.
AMR Corporation (NYSE: AMR) climbed 1% to $5.93. So far this year AMR has fallen over 43%.
Alaska Air Group, Inc. (NYSE: ALK) surged 1.81% to $27.01.
