Healthcare ETF Close To Going Green (XLV)

Symbols: XLV

Nobody should be too surprised that the Dow Jones Industrial Index has pulled back today after a run of 8 straight days in the green. Right now, the Dow is 48 points lower at 10,730. As a result of options and futures expirations today, volume and volatility will likely pick up going into the last half hour. Despite the market decline, there are some sectors in this market that are on the verge of moving into positive territory. The Health Care SPDR ETF (NYSE: XLV) is currently trading 0.01% lower at $32.26.

The XLV has been the place to hide out from the broader declines in the market during the current session. This security notched a 3 month low at $30.68 on February 8th, and has moved steadily higher since. There is a pretty good chance that the market could continue to lose ground next week, and the XLV may continue to be a good place to park a portion of your portfolio.
