Energy stocks moved up along with the broader market today, after an upbeat monthly jobs report. Shares of BP Plc (NYSE: BP) rose about 1.34%, while Mariner Energy (NYSE: ME) gained about 2.64%.The NYSE Arca Natural Gas Index (XNG) moved up 1.48%, while the NYSE Arca Oil Index (XOI) increased 1.26%. The Philadelphia Oil Service Index (OSX) rose about 1.34%.
