State Department Issues Yet Another Travel Advisory For Mexico

723 Die in Chile due to 8.8 Magnitude Earthquake

The current death toll for the recent 8.8 magnitude earthquake in Chile has reached 723. This earthquake is the 5th strongest since the 1900s and has drastically altered life for many residents. Approximately 1.5 million people were without power as a result of the earthquake that his Saturday. Furthermore, many are without safe drinking water.

Amtrak Goes Wireless

Amtrak has recently moved wireless on 20 Acela Express trains. These specific trains run between Washington and Boston. Currently the wireless service that is being offered is free, but in the future these policies may change and require a fee. The stations themselves are also becoming wireless within the gates as several renovations are taking place along the northeast corridor.

Whale Trainer Dies at SeaWorld

Veteran trainer Dawn Brancheau, 40, was drowned by a killer whale at Seaworld in Orlando. Tilikum is the name of the whale that drowned the trainer after dragging her in by her ponytail. This marks the second person to be killed by this whale.

Pilot Intentionally Crashes into Austin Building

A pilot intentionally flew his plane into a building in Austin, Texas not too long after setting his house on fire. The Piper Cherokee PA-28 is said to belong to Joseph Stack, 53; however, the Department of Homeland Security said that they do not have evidence to support that this attack was terrorist-initiated at this time.
