Campbell Soup Down Over 2% Despite Earnings Beat
Campbell Soup Company (NYSE: CPB) is trading lower on the session following its Q3 earnings announcement. The company reported an EPS of $0.56 vs $0.52 estimates revenues $1.82 billion vs $1.81 billion estimates. Campbell Soup also announced it sees FY12 adjusted EPS near upper End Of $2.35-2.42 range vs $2.37 estimates.
Denise Morrison, Campbell's President and Chief Executive Officer, said, “We continued to advance our strategies to stabilize and then profitably grow North America soup and simple meals, expand our international presence and continue to drive growth in healthy beverages and baked snacks."
Campbell Soup is currently trading at $32.64, a loss of $0.76 or 2.28%.
