1. Think WIN-WIN

When we think WIN-WIN we not only consider what’s best for us in any situation, but what is also best for others involved. When we do this, we create opportunities for ourselves and others that would have never been available to us if we only considered our own, or primary “win.”

2. Just DO it

This saying was made famous by the brand Nike, and boy were they on to something. No matter what you desire, what you want to achieve or what you want to gain, it will NEVER happen if you don’t JUST DO IT. Don’t let your worries, doubts, fears, past trial and errors get in the way of going for whatever you desire in life. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and it would have never came to be if somebody didn’t just do it.

3. Be mindful of the words you use

Words carry energy. The Law of Attraction tells us that we attract into our lives what we put out into the universe. Therefore, when we constantly put out and use words or phrases such as, I can’t, it’s impossible, it’ll never happen, there’s no point etc, then guess what? YOU’RE RIGHT! This law also applies when you use the words, I can, I will, it can be done etc, because you are now attracting the possibilities and opportunities you want for your success and it will become effortless.

4. Have a positive outlook

Staying positive in what sometimes may seem like hopeless situations can feel rather difficult. Fortunately, positive and negative perspectives are also habitual. In order to develop the habit of primarily a positive outlook on life, you must first BE AWARE of your current negative thought patterns. You have the freedom to choose how you want to perceive any situation. Instead of focusing on the negative, seek the opportunity in any challenge or obstacle. The goal here is to perceive ANYWAY situation, good or bad, as an opportunity for growth and new possibilities.

5. Focus on SOLUTIONS not PROBLEMS

Whether or not you generally focus on problems or solutions in any situation, is also an automatic habit. When you constantly look for problems, YOU WILL FIND PROBLEMS. Not only will you always find problems, but you are also limiting your potential to see all the available possibilities to go about creating opportunities and finding optimal solutions. However, when you being to look for SOLUTIONS the moment a challenge arises, you will automatically attract them into your life much more quickly, so you can continually move forward.

6. Be Consistent

Consistency is key. It is so easy to become discouraged and give up when things don’t go as planned right away or when you experience setbacks in achieving your goals. However, staying committed to what you want is how you will eventually and inevitably ensure you get it. After all, a baby doesn’t give up on mastering walking just because he falls the first ten times! Humans are predisposed to succeed, but ONLY when they persevere.

7. BREATHE!

Breathing may sound like a “no brainer” but when was the last time you took a step back during a hectic day to consciously take five deep breaths? Probably not as long as you can remember. Allowing ourselves to breathe and center throughout the day releases tons of catabolic, destructive energy, which allows for more positive, constructive energy to enter our lives and our minds. Developing the habit of recognizing “the overwhelm” allows us to automatically take a step back, and breath in order to find some calm in the chaos.
