4 Stocks Moving In Monday's After-Hours Session: FDA, Earnings, Dividends And M&A

U.S. markets closed substantially down on Monday, driven by lower oil prices, the Brexit, as well as financial and materials stocks.

Let's take a look into a few stocks that continued to move in Monday’s after-hours session.

Ennis, Inc. EBF was down about 2 percent after the bell rang, following the announcement of the company’s first quarter results. The small cap business products provider posted earnings of $0.26 per share, missing estimates by $0.05. Revenue of $90.4 million implied a 6.6 percent year-over-year decline in sales.

Ashford Hospitality Prime Inc AHP was up about 4.75 percent, after CEO Monty Bennett said, while the Board was willing to consider an offer, The Weisman Group’s $1.4 billion ($20.20 per share) bid was not enough.

Regulus Therapeutics Inc RGLS tumbled more than 60 percent after the FDA said it had placed the company’s lead product candidate, RG-101 for the treatment of hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection, on clinical hold. This means the company is no longer allowed to recruit new patients for its clinical studies, as adverse effects have proven high and serious.

New Residential Investment Corp NRZ is up almost 1 percent after-hours, after management said it was maintaining its $0.46 per share quarterly dividend. This payout implies a dividend yield of more than 14.4 percent, and will be payable July 29, to shareholders of record as of July 7.
