4 Stocks Moving In Monday's After-Hours Session

U.S. markets closed up on Monday, helped by surging oil prices and Janet Yellen’s comments. Let’s take a look into some of the stocks seen moving in Monday’s after-hours session.

Enova International Inc ENVA was down roughly 12.5 percent after the company issued a Press Release discussing the potential impact of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)’s rule regarding small-dollar loans, proposed on June 2. "The proposed rule will not affect consumers' need for short-term credit, and we believe we'll continue to have a strong U.S. business once the rule is final and implemented, which is anticipated to be in mid-2018. Many of the changes that will be required of all lenders play to our strengths as a technology and analytics company,” CEO David Fisher said.

Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ALXN lost more than 9 percent after the bell rang. The tumble was triggered by the release of disappointing data for the company’s Phase 3 clinical trial data of Soliris (eculizumab) for the treatment of refractory generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG). Soliris failed to achieve its primary endpoint, even though several secondary objectives were conquered.

ITT Educational Services, Inc. ESI was down more than 8.6 percent, apparently driven by a MarketWatch article assuring the company “is facing increased scrutiny from regulators amid questions from its accreditor about whether it can meet its standards.”

United Natural Foods, Inc. UNFI traded up following the announcement of the company’s third quarter results. While EPS of $0.76 beat the Street’s consensus by $0.10, revenue of $2.13 billion, up 0.9 percent year-over-year, came $30 million short of consensus. Also helping the stock surge was guidance; The company now anticipates EPS of $2.47 to $2.53, up from a previous guide of $2.34 to $2.44, and revenue of $8.46 billion to $8.5 billion, up from $8.31 billion to $8.43 billion.
