7 Stocks Moving In Today's After-Hours Session

Shares of Diplomat Pharmacy Inc DPLO were trading down more than 17 percent on Monday’s after-hours session, following the announcement of the company’s fourth quarter financial results. Nonetheless, the small cap independent specialty pharmacy posted earnings of $0.21 per share, $0.01 above the Street’s consensus, on revenue of $987 million, up 61.3 percent year-over-year, and $17.3 million higher than expectations.

Also trading down more than 17 percent since the bell rang was Rockwell Medical Inc RMTI, which widely missed estimates for its fourth quarter financial results. The company posted a net loss of $(0.12) per share, while the Street was anticipating EPS of $0.02. Revenue of $14.1 million, down 2.4 percent year-over-year, also came in $5.88 million below expectations.

On the other hand, there’s Exelixis, Inc. EXEL, up more than 11 percent on its fourth quarter earnings call and the announcement of an exclusive licensing agreement, with Ipsen IPSEY, for the commercialization and further development of cabozantinib, Exelixis’ main oncology drug. The company retrieved a fourth quarter net loss of $(0.19) per share, better than the expected $(0.22) per share, on revenue of $9.9 million, up 34.7 percent year-over-year, and $1.74 million above estimates.

Other stocks registering big moves on Monday’s after-hours session included:

  • Sterling Construction Company, Inc. STRL, down more than 10 percent.
  • PTC Therapeutics, Inc. PTCT, down roughly 7 percent.
  • Opower Inc OPWR, down about 6.75 percent.
  • Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc. HALO, up more than 9 percent.
  • TubeMogul Inc TUBE, up almost 5 percent.
