"Sexting Goes to Court"

"Sexting" is a term that has been coined to describe the new fad of exchanging sexual pictures and text messages via cell phones. Many teenagers have become engaged in these activities, with many parents being clueless.
However, the first "sexting" act has been taken to the courtroom. The prosecutor attempted to persuade the court to classify a picture of a teenager being spread throughout her middle-school via cell phones as child pornography.
In the first attempt to present this case, the American Civil Liberties Union combated the claim, saying the instance does not meet child pornography specifications.
The case was presented to a U.S. appellate court in Pennsylvania; the official ruling is expected within 90 days.
This may be the first of many lawsuits to come as "sexting" continues to be present in most middle schools and high schools throughout the country.
