Texting Competitions: The Olympics of the Future
January 15, 2010 2:32 PM
The time has come for texting competitions, which are very popular with recent generations. Recently two teenagers from South Korea earned the title of fastest texters within the world, taking home $100,000.
Bae Yeong Ho and Ha Mok Min were the two winners in the New York-based competition. Bae will be using his share of the money for training to become an opera singer, while Ha has her eyes on higher education to become an engineer.
This is the third annual "Mobile World Cup" to take place and ends with confetti and an awards ceremony for the winners.
Is this a bit too much or a great way to inspire kids to earn money to pursue their dreams?
