App Prevents Texting while Driving

There truly are apps for just about everything you can imagine. A concerned mother created an anti-texting and driving application that prevents teenagers, and even employees, from being on the phone while driving.
"Izup" instantly freezes the phone if traveling over 5 miles an hour but does not let up for momentary stops at lights or signs. The application also does not block emergency phone calls to 911.
This potentially life-saving application is not free; it costs $5 a month or $50 a year. However, many parents can easily justify the cost in order to make their teens safer on the highway.
