Eastman Kodak (NYSE: EK) has decided to sue both Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) and Research in Motion (NASDAQ: RIMM). According to Kodak, Apple's iPhone and many BlackBerry models violate Kodak's patent that covers photo preview technology.

Kodak is requesting that the U.S. Trade Commission ensure that Apple and Research in Motion immediately halt shipment of these phones.

Furthermore, Kodak is filing a separate lawsuit against Apple requesting funding for damages; the exact amount being requested has not yet been released.
