Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard Set To Reveal Joint Venture Details

Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT) and Hewlett-Packard Co (NYSE: HPQ) were set to reveal details of a joint venture first announced in May of last year.
The two companies had announced a three-year joint venture to streamline digital communications among messaging, video and voice technologies. They said that they would invest $180 million in product development, professional services, joint sales and marketing.
Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer and HP Chief Executive Mark Hurd will preside over the Wednesday morning teleconference, as well as executives from the companies' server and networking divisions.
