The Treasury Department is all set to unveil its new $100 bill on April 21. According to government officials, the decision to redesign the bill was taken to thwart counterfeiting threats. The new digital design is likely to make the counterfeiting process more difficult. According to the officials, older bills are more susceptible to counterfeiting due to simpler designs and printing process.

The Treasury Department is planning to provide training materials on the new $100 bills on www.newmoney.gov. The material will be available in 25 languages starting on April 21.
